Charlotte Terry

BROKER ASSOCIATE, ABR, TRC, GREEN

Charlotte is, as they say, "connected"- to everyone and every place, from the Environmental Learning Center to Saint Edward's School, where both her children graduated.

She knows Florida and Real Estate. Charlotte Terry is a fourth generation Floridian, and has lived in Vero Beach for over 40 years. Her family moved to Vero Beach from Jacksonville, Florida. After twenty years of owning her own company, Charlotte Terry Real Estate, Inc., as a buyer’s agent, Charlotte merged with Alex MacWilliam, Inc. Real Estate in 2009, and after much demand, expanded her practice to include listing representation.

She is a do-erCharlotte is more than a presence on the real estate scene. She is also a fixture in the community's vibrant cultural and environmental life, where she's been an activist and prime mover.

Charlotte is vice chairman of the Board of the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the poet, Ms. Jackson's historic home located on the ELC campus. The Foundation not only provides educational and literary seminars but started the successful Vero Beach Book Festival, bringing many Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize winning authors to the Vero Beach community. Partnering with this non- profit, Charlotte and Pam Proctor started the Teenwriters Workshop, bringing writers to Vero Beach to teach writing skills to teens, and started, with Nancy Hopwood, Cracker Tales, Inc., a documentary production company to capture local oral histories on video.

Charlotte is a founding member of the Board of the Indian River Literary Society and serves on the Haiti Partners Advisory Committee, a group committed to training teachers, community leaders and building schools in Haiti. S

She is a nature nut. As a Florida Master naturalist, Charlotte can often be found squiring clients on outdoor adventures, kayaking on the Indian River, fishing at Blue Cypress Lake, tracking wild animals in the St. Sebastian Buffer Preserve, or getting down and dirty at the annual bull auction at the Adams' Ranch. She also has proudly served on the Board of McKee Botanical Gardens.

WHAT THEY SAY:

"Charlotte's deep market knowledge, uncommon value sensitivity and pragmatic, personalized approach insure customer satisfaction and loyalty. If you seek the best, use the best."

Patty Valdes

REALTOR® ASSOCIATE, ABR, TRC, GREEN

Patty Valdes is a 34 year resident of Vero Beach, Fl. who has over three decades of experience in real estate. Her love for and roots in real estate run deep. Her Dad was a residential and commercial Real Estate Broker in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, who advised Patty to go into the business as Vero Beach transformed from a small beach community into a quiet hub for new home buyers and retirees alike.

Patty graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  After graduation, she worked at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida, training the bottle nosed dolphins Cary & Caesar, lifeguarding and coordinating summer camps for children. She has two children both living in Florida.

With over ten years of onsite sales at Grand Harbor, a golf, tennis and marina development, her experience in this community and others like it is invaluable.   Patty has assisted hundreds of clients throughout Indian River County since then. She prides herself on assisting these clients not only with their real estate needs but also with introducing them to the Vero Beach community as a whole. This hands-on approach has led to numerous invaluable referrals from friends and clients.

Patty was in the first class presented in the United States by the National Association of Realtors to earn certification in the Green Sustainable Property Designation.

As a fan of the beautiful Treasure Coast weather, you can typically find Patty outdoors when she is not with her clients. She enjoys walking the bridge and Riverside Park, going to the beach with her grandson, doing yoga, throwing the Frisbee for her rescue dog, Herald, planting fruits and vegetables and gathering eggs at her nearby farm.

So if you want to work with someone who doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty or walking the extra mile, give
Patty a call!

WHAT THEY SAY:

"Three homes later, Patty made the impossible happen for us!”
