Another Case Solved:
Sam & Louise Zimmerman
It was the summer of 2004 that found real estate developer Sam Zimmerman and his wife Louise nurturing dreams of transitioning their young family from their current Vero Beach residence into their dream home. The Zimmermans again enlisted super sleuth Christine Feist to serve as their representative and exclusive advocate as she'd successfully helped them purchase their current Central Beach home. Navigating the family's new home search, Christine negotiated a contract for the Zimmerman's dream home. End of story? Hardly. Hurricane Frances tried her best to ruin to the Zimmerman's plan to begin the fall in their dream home. Damage made their current home uninhabitable - but they had not yet closed on the purchase of their new home. Believing their dream of living in their new home this fall an impossibility, Louise sought temporary housing in Ohio and enrolled her children in school. Charlotte Terry Real Estate got wind of Sam's coping alone with massive clean up at his current home -- and the prospect of potential damage to his new possible new home. Determined to fulfill his long time dream of being a hero to his wife, Sam steeled his resolve to make their home's contract closing a reality. Within hours of the hurricane's departure, Christine came to his aid, navigating streets littered with fallen trees, electrical wires and standing water - first to assess damage to their home and then to find an inspector who had not evacuated and was willing to inspect the property in the midst of post-disaster conditions that included no power or running water. Inspection complete, damage assessed, Hurricane Jeanne came to call, unbelievably leaving Christine and Sam to again undergo the same assessment and inspection in post-disaster conditions. Still determined to close on the home purchase and undaunted by an unbelievable turn of events, the story's plot thickened more for the Zimmermans as the seller of their dream home balked at completing the fully negotiated contract for sale. The hurricane left her unwilling to vacate the premises in order for the family to take occupancy. After countless hours of negotiations with the seller, seller's real estate agent and legal representatives, Christine ultimately helped to make her clients' dreams a reality. Today, we are delighted to report that the Zimmerman family is happily ensconced in their dream home and memories of that difficult summer are fading away. What does Sam have to say about his experiences with Charlotte Terry Real Estate? Says Sam:
" Christine and Bev Harrison are my friends.
How many people can say that about their real estate broker?
As a real estate developer, I know that most real estate is 'happy' real estate.
That kind of real estate is easy. My deal was hard at every turn.
There are very few brokers around here that could have accomplished for us what Christine did -- I would strongly recommend Charlotte Terry Real Estate to anyone considering purchasing real estate in Vero Beach --
they made my dreams come true!"
