Charlotte
is, as they say, "connected"
- to everyone and every place, from the Environmental
Learning Center to Saint Edward's School, where
both her children graduated.
She
knows Florida. A native Floridian and Vero
Beach resident for more than 35 years, she has
more than two decades of Florida real estate experience
under her belt, the last ten as owner and founder
of Charlotte Terry Real Estate.
She's
a people person. Her clients' enthusiasm speaks
for itself:
- "Charlotte's
deep market knowledge, uncommon value sensitivity
and pragmatic, personalized approach insure
customer satisfaction and loyalty. If you seek
the best, use the best."
--Alice and Bill, John's Island
- "Boy,
are we ever glad we met you. We never would
have
found our fabulous condo (and at a such a great
price!). We never would have had that crazy,
fun Blue Cypress Lake day at the fish camp.
And we never would have known the one, the only
Miss Charlotte, who lights up not only our lives,
but the whole world!"
--Ellen and Dick, Vero Beach
She's
a do-er. Charlotte is more than a presence
on the real estate scene. She is also a fixture
in the community's vibrant cultural and environmental
life, where she's been an activist and prime mover.
She's founder of the acclaimed Teen Writers Workshop,
a choir member and former trustee of the Community
Church, and a long-time board member of such organizations
as The Laura (Riding) Jackson Home Preservation
Foundation, Inc., The Fellowship of Christians
in Universities and Schools (FOCUS), and The Indian
River Literary Society.
She's
a nature nut. An avid naturalist, Charlotte
can often be found squiring clients on outdoor
adventures, kayaking on the Indian River, fishing
at Blue Cypress Lake, tracking wild animals in
the St. Sebastian Buffer Preserve, or getting
down and dirty at the annual bull auction at the
Adams' Ranch. She also sponsors the annual Charlotte
Terry Real Estate Blue Cypress Fishing Tournament,
to benefit Youth Guidance. Click

If anyone understands the premiere real estate market, it's Christine, who has more than 20 years in the business, both in Vero Beach and in Coral Gables/Miami. There, she specialized in international relocation and historic home restoration -- fields that brought her in contact with people from all over the globe who demanded only the best.
Christine's impeccable taste, market savvy and organizational skills are legendary among her clients, who rely on her to get them and their families settled into the perfect home, schools, and clubs.
Christine's Passions
Helping at-risk families. She's a prime mover in Partners with Families, a key ministry at Community Church that aids families in distress throughout Indian River County.
Bolstering Education. Christine jump-started three major educational initiatives at Saint Edward's School, where her son was a student. The first was Parents Supporting Parents, a series of speakers on topical issues relevant to child rearing. She also created the school's faculty advisory system and the community service program, both of which are integral to the Saint Edward's experience.
Life Coaches. Recognizing a need to guide young, at risk women, from middle school through to college, Christine has recently organized a group of young professional women to serve as life coaches. Many of these “volunteers” are former clients, interested in becoming involved with the community.
Cooking for Friends. "One of my favorite things is to put together big meals and have lots of people over," says Christine, who also takes time to do "Angel Baking," by bringing cakes and cookies to needy neighbors.
Traveling abroad and at home.
Christine says, "I love having friends all over the world. My life is an extension of my job, and my clients become my friends."

Karen knows firsthand what it's like to be a Northern transplant. Ever since she moved to Vero from Shelburne, Vermont, with her husband, Sabe, she has made it her business to help newcomers learn everything they need to know to feel completely at home.

"The thing that impressed us most about Vero, and what I try to communicate to clients, is that it's a real community, notsimply a resort area," says Karen. "It has all the cultural advantages of a large city, and the lifestyle benefits of a small town."
Karen brings to Charlotte Terry Real Estate a wealth of personal and professional experience, including:
- More than 25 years as a top real-estate producer, specializing in distinctive properties.

- A can-do attitude and lively sense of humor.
Clients from Vermont to Florida agree:
- "Karen was just super."
-- Mike and Linda New
- "We loved working with Karen Abell. She could sell us an igloo in Hawaii!"
-- Don and Linda Scott
- "In my 30 years of dealing with top people, Karen Abell, through persistence, tact, and market savvy, is a gem."
-- David Bell
Karen's outreach: When she's not helping clients, Karen has integrated herself into the fabric of the Vero community. She's a past member of the board of directors of the Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross and Chairman of their events committee; member of the Board of Directors of the Indian River Land Trust; member of the McKee Botanical Gardens Board of Directors serving on the Long Range Planning Committee; member of the Indian River Literary Society; and a member of the Vero Beach Museum of Art. In her off-hours you can find her playing tennis, walking the beach or traveling. Her favorite pastime is entertaining friends.
Karen’s credo, "The practice of real estate is an ongoing commitment. My mission is to find that "right" property for my clients which will give them a fulfilling lifestyle and make the whole process from search to closing both exciting and professional. She
golfs. She plays tennis. She fishes. She rides
horses. She sells real estate. Bev Harrison does
it all and she'll do it for you.
After
23 years in Vero Beach, 19 of them in real estate,
Bev knows the Treasure Coast recreational scene
like no one else. She first came to town in 1972,
when her mother moved to John's Island. Since
then, she's had her finger on the pulse of the
sporting action, whether it's as a first mate
on a sport fishing boat, a contestant in golf
tournaments at one of Vero's first-rate golf courses,
or an active tennis player at clubs from Sea Oaks
to Riomar to John's Island.
- "Beverley
Harrison is one of the best Brokers we've ever
dealt with. She's interested, enthusiastic,
accommodating and at all times wonderful to
work with. She really is a buyer's broker and
finds what you're looking for! She knows her
market and takes care of her clients in a friendly,
professional way."
-Liz and Len, Mill Neck, NY
At
Charlotte Terry Real Estate, clients are especially
drawn to Bev because of her ability to size up
their athletic as well as their real estate needs.
"I
take special care to determine a client's particular
interest and skill level," says Bev. "Then,
I can introduce them to the right golf courses,
golf pros, fly-fishing guides, tennis courts and
clubs, or the burgeoning equine community."
Bev,
who has fly-fished on the Snake River in Idaho,
skied in Colorado, trained horses in Maryland and Virginia, played golf in Maui and plays tennis all around town, understands the virtues
of living and owning real estate in Vero Beach.
Bev
says, "What makes Vero unique is that there
are so many wonderful sports opportunities. Even though we are growing at an unprecedented rate, the small town flavor is still here."

Patty
Valdes makes buying a house as easy as pie. Key
lime pie, to be exact.
That's
because Patty is not only a top-notch realtor,
who helps buyers find the house of their dreams;
she's also a crackerjack baker, whose Key lime
pies, oatmeal raisin cookies, and other gourmet
specialities are acclaimed, throughout Vero Beach.
What
clients rave about most, however, is her professionalism
and open, straightforward style, an approach to
the real estate market that infuses clients with
confidence.
- "Patty's
professional attitude and her unwavering display
of honesty add to her character. She's our realtor
for life."
-Joyce, Grand Harbor
- "She's
honest, caring, and sincere. Patty is one of
those exceptional people who can combine a professional
manner with a personal touch - along with an
extensive knowledge of Vero. She's the best.
-John & Carol, Connecticut
As
a realtor with more than fifteen years in general
and developmental real estate in Indian River
County, Patty knows the area inside and out. She
has the lowdown on private golf and boating communities,
after seven years on the real estate staff of
Grand Harbor. She's also got her finger on the
pulse of the education scene, as a former subsitute
teacher in one of the city's top public elementary
schools and as the parent of two local high school
graduates. One of her children graduated from
St. Edward's School and the other from Vero Beach
High School.
Even
more important, Patty believes in this community.
Her clients say it best:
- "Patty's
enthusiasm is intoxicating. She loves Vero and
helped us fall in love with it too"
- The Calvers, New York
When
she's not wheeling and dealing on behalf of her
clients, where can Patty be found?
- You
might find her fishing on the Blue Cypress Lake
or in the Atlantic. A former resident of Lake
Geneva, ,Wisconsin, Patty cut her teeth fishing
for Walleye, and now she often goes fishing
for large-mouth bass, trout, or "anything
that's running in the ocean or river.
- Or,
you could find her working for Habitat for Humanity,
where her background in the building business
comes in handy. At Habitat, she's helping to
raise money for a house sponsored by the Indian
River Board of Realtors.
- Then
again, you may find her in the kitchen, whipping
up a bonus treat for a client - perhaps just
for you.
With
Patty as your realtor, you can be sure of two
things: the house you buy will never be a lemon;
and the Key lime pie she'll bake for you will
be the best in town. Says
Patty: "Finding the right place of property
is a lot like eating Key Lime pie. When you get
a taste of the perfect piece, your face bursts
into smiles. It happens every time.
